Mobius - Material Performance

   This project is a group project for the second semester of first year. In this project I worked in a group of ten. For the final project of the basic design class, we worked as a group consisting of the architecture,interior design and industrial product design students. In this project, our main topic was the material performance for pavilion design. We tried many different materials and observed their reactions for different scales. Consequently we made two-dimensional pattern in which we applied double-layered plywood with a membrane between the layers. We stabilized tis two-dimensional pattern with the help of steel cables in three-dimensional way. As a result of the project, we observed how different types of materials operate together.
