PvaCuum - Customized Lighting Unit

   This project is a group project for the second semester of second year. In this project I worked in a group of there. This product is the final Project for the class of “Technical Studies: Materials and Manufacturing”. In the project, we worked as a group and reinterpreted the vacuum forming technique – which is currently being used in the industry – by pulling it out of its usage area. In light of the information obtained in the chapter on the plastics, we determined pvc as the material suitable for the vacuum forming. Secondly, we designed the wooden moulds and the box to be used for vacuuming operation and had them produced. We gave form to the pvc with vacuuming system. In the end, we designed and produced a lighting unit consisting of these pvc panels.
